Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Randomly. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who are found to be under 18.

If you are accessing the App from the European Union, you confirm that you are of legal age to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

2. Account & Registration

To use Randomly, you must sign in with a Google account via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information (nickname, date of birth)
• Not create accounts on behalf of others
• Not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions
• Keep your account credentials secure

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Randomly in compliance with all applicable laws and these Terms. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any content you share through the App.

4. Prohibited Content & Conduct

The following is strictly prohibited on Randomly:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content involving minors - This will result in immediate, permanent account termination and reporting to law enforcement.
• Grooming or predatory behavior toward any user
• Harassment, bullying, or threats directed at other users
• Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Spam, scams, or fraudulent activity
• Impersonation of other individuals or entities
• Sharing personal information of others without consent (doxxing)
• Promoting self-harm or suicide
• Illegal content or content that promotes illegal activities
• Malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Automated use of the service (bots, scrapers, etc.) without authorization

NSFW content is moderated on the public feed using automated detection. Sharing explicit content in private chats is at the discretion of both participants but must comply with all applicable laws.

5. Content Moderation

We use a combination of automated systems (including Google Cloud Vision API for image scanning) and user reports to moderate content. We reserve the right to:

• Remove any content that violates these Terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Cooperate with law enforcement when required by law
• Take action at our discretion to protect the safety of users

6. Intellectual Property

The Randomly app, including its design, features, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of the developer. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its components
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the Randomly name, logo, or branding without permission

You retain ownership of content you create and share through the App. By posting content, you grant Randomly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content as necessary to operate the service.

7. Privacy

Your use of Randomly is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Services

Randomly integrates with third-party services including Google AdMob (advertising), Firebase Analytics, Firebase Authentication, and Google Cloud Vision API. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Randomly is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
• Any defects will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App
• Any content posted by other users
• Unauthorized access to your data
• Any interactions with other users, whether online or offline

You use Randomly at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the safety and integrity of the platform. Specifically:

• Warnings may be issued for minor violations
• Temporary suspensions may be applied for repeated or moderate violations
• Permanent bans will be applied for severe violations, including CSAM, threats, or illegal activity

You may delete your own account at any time through the App settings. Account deletion is processed after a 30-day grace period during which you may cancel the deletion.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and may notify users through the App. Your continued use of Randomly after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bonn, Germany.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
